Holiday food…

Okay, another all hallow’s eve has come and gone, and while I enjoyed being a legitimized witch for an entire day, I missed out on my absolute favorite Halloween candy:

snickers

Mmmm, just seeing the wrapper makes my mouth water. Snickers is a great candy bar, but Snickers Cruncher is absolutely fabulous. I don’t think I’ve seen these in my local stores lately. I hope they don’t get the axe. And what’s with everyone handing out smarties and twizzlers? My kids’ bags were shamefully lean on chocolate goodies this year. Chocolate, people! It’s what the mammas want!

Speaking of food — in a whole different vein, Thanksgiving, for most people, means meat and potatoes. And while I love the traditions as much as the next guy, meat and potatoes don’t excite me very much. What I’m really excited about is that this year, we are having a Thanksgiving sushi feast!! Lets start a new tradition — hamachi and wasabi!

I’m thankful for sushi. What foods are you thankful for?

I love sushi. A Sushi Thanksgiving… hmmm, sounds like a great title for a book. I’m also thankful for apple fritters, almond joys and brussel sprouts. Yes, brussel sprouts.
